Joe Paterno is arugeably the greatest college football coach of all time; he has set so many records in his long 45 year career as head coach of Penn State. He has achieved so much in his many years at the University and is beloved by so many people that are involved at Penn State. His greatest and latest record that he could break is getting four hundred wins as head coach for his career. This is such a great feat because no other coach in FBS history has ever achieved this goal. Only two other coaches have achieved this feat, and they are Eddie Robinson I-AA and John Gagliardi at St. Johns Minnesota.
Joe Pa, which is his nickname given by the Penn State faithful, is so modest about what he has achieved at Penn State, and refuses to answer any questions this week about this great goal that he could achieve this weekend against Northwestern. This is why so many people love Joe Paterno, not only is he a great coach, but he is so modest about his achievements and never is cocky about them and never show boats. He just coaches the game and still coaches it because he loves the game so much and it would be so hard for him to step away from the game of football. He turns 84 years old next month, and many people wonder how much longer Joe Pa can keep this up. I guess we will all see soon.
